Sumidero Canyon

This was an awe-inspiring place in Chiapas, Mexico, and yet this is the only photo I have. Back in the old days before the digital revolution — prior to 2000, say — a backpacker had to carry all her photo gear — heavy lenses, big heavy cameras, film canisters, etc — and you had to wait before getting all your precious film developed — so I tended to be sparing about the photos I took.
